Safer, stronger and healthier neighbourhoods
Aspiration
The focus of the pilot will be safer, stronger and healthier neighbourhoods – focusing on services for children and young people, with an ambition to target resources at areas of greatest need. The work aims to eliminate duplication; deliver efficiencies through working together, and improve the effectiveness of services.
What are South Tyneside, Gateshead and Sunderland currently doing?
Currently working together to:
- launch the pilot and further engage partners
- refine the scope
- implement governance and project management arrangements
- allocate resources
- develop a methodology for the counting process, and
- develop a strategy to engage the public (includes Customer Insight work).
