CHRIS BUTTRESS

Chris is a very experienced management consultant. He has over 35 years of providing advice and support to local authorities and the broader public sector.
He specialises in organisational strategy, delivering change, improvement and transformation. He typically works at Board level alongside Senior Officers, Members and as a NED.
Chris’s main career was with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) LLP where he was a Management Consultant for 25 years including 13 years as a Partner.
He was a member of the UK Consulting Board with responsibility for leading and growing the UK Consulting business. He also led PwC’s devolved and local government business and was responsible for the firm’s Consulting strategy and presence across 35 UK regional offices.
Chris brings a unique combination of commercial skills alongside a deep understanding of leadership and strategy in the public sector.
